Meet Cami Cassidy- Group Fitness Instructor

Cami  is one of our fabulous Group Fitness instructors at Active at NorthBay. Let’s let her introduce herself and learn more about her.

“Hi, I’m Coach Cami, and I’m passionate about helping others achieve their fitness goals in a supportive and empowering environment. My journey to coaching began in the U.S. Army, where I learned discipline, resilience, and the importance of teamwork.

After my service, I pursued a degree in Psychology to gain a deeper understanding of human behavior and motivation. This knowledge, combined with my certifications as a NASM Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), AFAA Group Training Specialist, TRX and Cardio Kickboxing instructor, allows me to create effective and engaging workout programs for all fitness levels.

I’m a certified Spartan SGX Coach and Ragnar Relay Team Leader, so I understand the challenges and rewards of pushing your limits. I’m also a Kickboxing Boot Camp Coach, bringing an element of fun and self-defense into workouts.

As a breast cancer survivor, I understand the importance of physical and mental strength in overcoming challenges. My experience fuels my commitment to helping others become the strongest, most confident version of themselves.

In my free time, I like to jet ski, hike, and go camping. I have 2 fur-baby pups named Zoey and Brody.”

If you haven’t had the pleasure, check out the Group Fitness schedule and catch Cami Wednesday nights teaching Butts & Guts at 5:30pm. Thank you Cami, for your hard work, positive energy, and kick butt classes!
