What is the expected wait time for a response back about my inquiry?
Please allow us up to 3-5 business days to get back to you. There has been an incredible response to reopening Active at NorthBay, and we’re working hard to get back to all. We appreciate your patience and look forward to welcoming you to the club!
Will there be a NB employee discount?

Yes, NorthBay Health employees receive preferred pricing and can join online here. NorthBay Health employees can also add their partner or spouse at the same preferred rate, using the same link.

Do you offer family memberships?

Yes, we offer flexible membership options for families. Rather than a one-size-fits all family plan, individuals can add family members to their account at the applicable adult, senior or youth add-on pricing. This ensures that every member of your family receives the best pricing, and that your membership plan fits your family’s needs. Sign up as an individual to join online and contact to add family members to your account.

Will swim lessons be returning?

We are currently hiring for all positions and hope to offer swim lessons in the near future. However we do not currently have swim lesson programs slated for our initial reopening.

Will the pools be open?

Yes! We look forward to reopening the pools along with the rest of the club. Reservations for lap swimmings will be available, and we’ll share how to make reservations upon opening.

Can I tour the facility?

We are currently recruiting team members to be able to offer club tours soon. We will send an email when tours are available to be scheduled at your convenience. Be sure to sign up for our email list here to receive these updates.

Will my favorite equipment still be available?

We haven’t removed any equipment but will re-organizing spaces to create new small group training areas, as well as more open workout space on the weight room floor.

I’m excited about my old favorites coming back. Can you also tell us what’s going to be NEW at the club?

In addition to new staff, a refreshed interior, and regular community events, we’re excited to bring Active Wellness’ signature offerings like The ZONE, our exclusive heart-rate based training program. 

More importantly, we’re excited to restore service to Vacaville’s premier health club with amenities unmatched in the area. 

Do you offer Silver Sneakers?

No, we do not partner with Silver Sneakers. However, we will offer other insurance reimbursement programs and will announce those details as they are solidified. Additionally we offer discounted pricing for seniors, ages 65+.

What classes will be offered, and will there be evening classes?

We’re recruiting the BEST instructors in Vacaville to offer a wide variety of class offerings throughout each day and week, including cycling, yoga, dance, barre, strength, cardio and all of your favorites. Class schedules are currently being confirmed.

Do you have a more definitive date for opening?

We’re working hard to recruit team members and reopen as soon as possible. We will confirm a reopening date and communicate that with our email list in June 2023 – for a future reopening date in the summer.

Will childcare be offered?

We are planning to offer childcare services when staffing is available, but do not expect it to be offered immediately when we first reopen.

What ages are youth memberships?

Youth memberships are available for ages 13-17 years old.

What equipment will you have?

We will post a full equipment list to our website soon, but rest assured, we haven’t removed any equipment. We haven’t removed any equipment but will be shifting equipment to create new small group training areas, as well as more open workout space on the weight room floor.

What is happening with the HealthSpring Fitness Center at NorthBay Health?

NorthBay Health has hired Active Wellness to reopen and operate HealthSpring Fitness under the Active Wellness Center brand and operating model. HealthSpring Fitness is now Active Wellness Center at NorthBay Health.

What amenities are included at Active Wellness Center at NorthBay Health?

The three-story facility at 1020 Nut Tree Road is the ultimate fitness and wellness destination in Vacaville offering:

  • Dedicated boutique fitness studios for indoor cycling, yoga, boxing, small group training, and heart-rate training

How do I join as a new member?

Online enrollment is available at HERE starting May 1, 2023 and in-club enrollments will be available starting June 15, 2023. 

Will Active Wellness Center offer any new member discounts?

Ongoing discounts are available to seniors, employees of corporate partners, and NorthBay Health employees. Certain conditions apply and proof of eligibility is required. Discounts may not be combined with other offers. 

Will my HealthSpring Fitness membership automatically be transferred to Active Wellness Center?

No. Memberships managed by the previous fitness operator will not be automatically restarted, and Active does not have member billing information. 

Will my previous rate be honored?

Unfortunately, no. The membership pricing structure must be adjusted to sustain operations under current market conditions.  

Will I be refunded for the two weeks of access to the facility I lost in March 2020?

No, however, returning members will receive two weeks of free access if they choose to re-enroll by August 31, 2023.

If I was a previous member and do not want to join, do I need to cancel my membership?

No, memberships will not be automatically reactivated. 

I was a member and have unused personal service packages. Will these be honored?

Yes. We have access to unredeemed service records and payments and will apply the balance to your account.

Who do I contact to verify the balance of personal service packages?

What are Active Wellness Center’s hours of operation?

Active will be open Mondays-Thursdays from 5:30am-9pm, Fridays from 5:30am-7pm, and Saturdays-Sundays from 8am-1pm.
