Tek grew up in New York where she studied dance and martial arts. She fell in love with group fitness in college when she tried her first Yoga class. Tek really admired the energy and sense of community she experienced with exercising in a group setting. She made many friends and learned about the importance of health and fitness through a balanced lifestyle. Tek has amazing energy that is contagious.
Tek’s hobbies are traveling, working out, spending time with family (including her Frenchie) and cooking delicious, healthy meals. Tek’s main goal is to create a warm, motivating, and welcoming environment that encourages self exploration and growth when every member steps into her class. She really strives to incorporate powerful postures that promote balance, breathwork, meditation, and inner peace in her classes. As a lifelong learner, and fitness enthusiast, Tek is here to assist you in achieving your fitness goals.
Tek is certified in Yoga, Chair Yoga, Mat Pilates, Barre, and more. Make sure to check out her Chair Yoga class on Tuesdays at 12:15pm and Mat Pilates class on Sundays at 11:30am. She will also be teaching the 9am Cardio Barre class every other Sunday. Not only is Tek passionate and knowledgeable about fitness, she is also great with kids.
