BRAIN HEALTH AWARENESS MONTH AT ACTIVE

Join us for an informative and empowering month where you’ll have the opportunity to attend our free education classes and fundraiser fitness classes to learn more about and support the Alzheimer’s Association and the vital work they do in supporting individuals and families affected by Alzheimer’s and dementia. These events will provide a deeper understanding of what dementia and Alzheimer’s disease are, including the symptoms, progression, and impact on individuals and caregivers.

You’ll also explore the factors that increase the risk of developing Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. Learn how everyday behaviors and lifestyle choices can affect both brain and body health, and discover practical ways to reduce risks through informed decisions.

Attendees will gain valuable insights into:

  • Healthy decision-making strategies

  • How to support your mental health

  • The importance of nutrition and physical activity for maintaining brain health

Whether you’re a caregiver, healthcare professional, or simply looking to take better care of your brain and body, these classes will provide helpful tools and knowledge to support a healthier, more informed lifestyle.
